Euromast Entry Tickets Overview
Standing 185 metres tall in the beautiful Het Park district on the south bank of the Maas river, the Euromast is the most recognisable structure on the Rotterdam skyline and one of the most visited attractions in the Netherlands. Originally built in 1960 for the Floriade international horticultural exhibition at a height of 101 metres, the tower was extended to its current height of 185 metres in 1970 with the addition of the Space Tower, making it the tallest structure in Rotterdam and the highest observation tower in the Netherlands.
A visit to the Euromast begins at ground level with The Rise of Rotterdam, a newly refreshed immersive experience featuring two spectacular rooms that trace the story of Rotterdam from its origins as a muddy river delta to its current status as the largest port in Europe. From here, a high-speed lift carries visitors to the observation deck at 100 metres, where a 360-degree panorama reveals the Erasmus Bridge, the Maas River, the extraordinary Rotterdam skyline of architectural landmarks, and on a clear day the distant skyline of The Hague and Antwerp beyond.
For those who want to go higher, the Euroscoop rotating glass capsule spirals to the very top of the Space Tower at 185 metres, offering views as far as the eye can see across the flat Dutch landscape. Book your Euromast Rotterdam tickets now and experience the city that rebuilt itself from the rubble of World War II into one of Europe's most architecturally extraordinary destinations.

FAQs
The Euromast is located at Parkhaven 20 in the Het Park district of Rotterdam. The most convenient public transport option is tram line 8 from Rotterdam Centraal to the Euromast stop, a journey of approximately 15 minutes. Metro lines B and C to Eendrachtsplein followed by tram 8 is another option. A paid car park is located directly opposite the tower entrance.
The standard Euromast ticket includes access to The Rise of Rotterdam immersive experience and the observation deck at 100 metres. The Euroscoop is a separate rotating glass capsule that spirals from the observation deck to the very summit of the Space Tower at 185 metres. An upgraded or combo ticket including the Euroscoop is available when booking and provides the most comprehensive experience of the tower.
From June to September the Euromast offers abseiling from the observation deck at 100 metres, the highest abseiling location in Europe. Participants descend from the outside of the tower on ropes, with Rotterdam's skyline spread out below them. Abseiling is available for two people at a time and must be booked separately in advance as spots are strictly limited and sell out quickly.
The Rise of Rotterdam is an immersive experience on the ground floor of the Euromast that tells the story of how Rotterdam grew from a small settlement at the mouth of the Rotte river into the largest port in Europe. It features two immersive rooms with 360-degree projections and narration that bring the city's history to life before you ascend to the observation deck above.
Yes. The Euromast underwent a large-scale maintenance and renovation programme from 5 January 2026 to early April 2026. The tower has since reopened with updated facilities and a refreshed visitor experience. Always check the official Euromast website at euromast.nl for the most current opening information and any ongoing works before your visit.
From the observation deck at 100 metres you can see the Erasmus Bridge, the Maas River, the Nieuwe Maas waterway, the vast Rotterdam port complex stretching to the North Sea, and the extraordinary architectural skyline of Rotterdam including the Cube Houses, the Market Hall, and the Central Station. On a clear day views extend to The Hague and on exceptionally clear days to the coast and Antwerp.
The Euromast is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 with last entry at 21:00. The Coffee Corner and Gift Shop open slightly earlier at 09:30. The Euromast reopened in spring 2026 following a large-scale maintenance and renovation closure. Always verify the current schedule on the official website at euromast.nl before your visit as hours may have been adjusted following the renovation.
Most visitors spend between 1 to 1.5 hours at the Euromast covering The Rise of Rotterdam experience and time on the observation deck. Adding the Euroscoop extends the visit by a further 20 to 30 minutes. Visitors who dine at the Euromast restaurant or spend time in the gift shop may find the full experience takes closer to 2 hours.
