Cloud Forest Entry Tickets Overview
Rising inside a spectacular glass dome on the Marina Bay waterfront, the Cloud Forest is one of the two cooled conservatories at Gardens by the Bay and one of the most extraordinary indoor horticultural environments in the world. The conservatory recreates the atmospheric conditions of tropical mountain habitats typically found at 2,000 metres above sea level, maintaining a cool temperature of approximately 23 to 25 degrees Celsius and a consistent humidity that nourishes an extraordinary collection of plants that could not otherwise survive in Singapore's tropical heat.
At the heart of the Cloud Forest is Cloud Mountain, a 35-metre artificial mountain structure covered entirely in lush cloud forest vegetation. A dramatic waterfall cascades 35 metres from the summit in what is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world, filling the conservatory with mist and sound in an experience that visitors consistently describe as one of the most memorable they have encountered anywhere in Singapore. Visitors ascend to the summit by lift and descend via a series of aerial walkways that wind around the mountain's exterior through extraordinary collections of carnivorous plants, epiphytic orchids, ferns, mosses, and the rich biodiversity of habitats that are among the most threatened on earth.
In 2026, the Cloud Forest hosts Jurassic World: The Experience, a spectacular collaboration with Universal and NEON featuring 13 immersive zones, a Brachiosaurus standing 8.5 metres tall, velociraptors, a Tyrannosaurus rex face-to-face encounter, and a nursery where visitors can interact with baby dinosaurs amid the lush cloud forest vegetation. The Hidden Forest digital art installation by Japan's NAKED Inc. at Crystal Mountain adds further sensory richness. Monthly maintenance closures apply. Book your tickets in advance and check closure dates.
Know Before You Go
Food and drinks are strictly prohibited inside the Cloud Forest conservatory so plan to enjoy dining before or after your visit at one of the many restaurants at Gardens by the Bay or nearby Marina Bay
The Jurassic World: The Experience includes areas with loud sound effects and flashing lights so visitors with sensitivity to sound or lighting effects should take this into account when planning their visit
Note that the Cloud Forest undergoes monthly maintenance closures on a scheduled basis, with the next closure on 28 July 2026, so always check the official Gardens by the Bay closure calendar at gardensbythebay.com.sg before booking
Book your Cloud Forest tickets online in advance as it is one of Singapore's most popular paid attractions and popular weekend time slots sell out especially during school holiday periods
Sections of the Colonnade and Supertree Grove Lawn are temporarily re-routed from 22 June to 16 July 2026 due to Singapore Garden Festival preparations, which may affect your route to the Cloud Forest entrance

It is included in the standard Cloud Forest admission ticket.
The Cloud Forest is a cooled conservatory at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, housing the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 35 metres and over 72,000 plants from tropical mountain habitats around the world. Maintained at approximately 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, it recreates the atmospheric conditions of cloud forest ecosystems found at 2,000 metres above sea level. In 2026 it hosts Jurassic World: The Experience featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
The Cloud Forest is located at 18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953, within the Gardens by the Bay Bay South Garden. The most convenient MRT connection is Bayfront station on the Circle Line and Downtown Line (Exit B), a short walk across Dragonfly Bridge or via the undercover shuttle to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest entrance. Alternatively, the Thomson-East Coast Line to Gardens by the Bay station (Exit 1) delivers visitors directly into the gardens.
Yes, the Cloud Forest is an excellent experience for families with children of all ages. The Jurassic World: The Experience in 2026 is particularly popular with children. Parents should note that some Jurassic World zones include loud sound effects and flashing lights that may unsettle very young children or those with sensory sensitivities. The conservatory is fully accessible with lift access and ramps throughout. Children under 3 enter free. Pushchairs are permitted inside the conservatory.
The Cloud Forest waterfall is the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 35 metres, cascading from the summit of Cloud Mountain inside the conservatory. The water falls continuously, creating mist that drifts through the lower levels of the conservatory and contributes to the atmospheric cloud forest environment. The waterfall is visible from multiple levels of the aerial walkways as visitors descend from the mountain summit, and the mist is noticeably present at lower levels near the base.
Allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours for a thorough visit through all levels of the Cloud Forest including the lift ascent, all aerial walkways, the Jurassic World zones, and the Digital Art installation. Misting occurs every two hours starting from 10:00, which significantly enhances the atmospheric experience and is worth timing your visit around. Evening visits from 18:00 offer particularly atmospheric lighting throughout the conservatory.
Yes, and the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are the most commonly purchased combination at Gardens by the Bay, available as a single combo ticket at a saving compared to individual tickets. The two conservatories are connected by a covered walkway and most visitors explore both in the same visit. Allow approximately 3 to 4 hours total for a comfortable combined visit through both conservatories.
Yes. The Cloud Forest conservatory closes once a month for scheduled maintenance to ensure the best visitor experience. The next scheduled closure is 28 July 2026. Block-out dates also apply to day passes and Friends of the Gardens memberships. Always check the official closure calendar at gardensbythebay.com.sg before booking or visiting as attending on a closure day means the Cloud Forest will not be accessible.
