Cultural visits run Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. On Sundays tourist visits are available from 1:30 pm to 5 pm with morning hours reserved for religious services. Free access is available daily from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Yes. Santa Maria del Mar is an active parish church and minor basilica that holds daily masses in Catalan and Spanish. Masses run at 7:30 pm Monday to Saturday and at noon and 7:30 pm on Sundays. Religious services take precedence over tourist access at all times.

The basilica is at Placa de Santa Maria 1 in El Born. Take Metro Line 4 to Jaume I station and walk five minutes. The Picasso Museum is two minutes walk from the basilica on Carrer de Montcada.
