At The Top is the primary public observation experience at the Burj Khalifa, located on levels 124 and 125 at heights of 452 and 456 meters above street level. Visitors ascend in a double-deck elevator at 10 meters per second, reaching the deck in under 60 seconds. The experience includes outdoor and indoor viewing areas, high-powered AR telescopes, a VR simulation of climbing to the pinnacle, green screen photography, and 360-degree city panoramas.

At The Top SKY is a premium tier observation experience on level 148 at 555 meters, the world's highest outdoor observation deck. It includes a personal Guest Ambassador, Arabic coffee and dates, a dedicated elevator, and a maximum of 50 visitors at any one time for an exclusive and uncrowded experience. It requires a separate, higher-priced ticket from the standard At The Top admission and is available from 12:00 to 22:00 daily.

The Dubai Fountain is located on the Burj Khalifa Lake directly below the tower. However, the Dubai Fountain is currently temporarily closed for renovation works and its scheduled performances are not currently running. Most visitors spend between 1 to 1.5 hours at the Burj Khalifa At The Top experience, including the elevator ascent, time on both observation decks, the VR experience, and the descent. There is no hard time limit on the observation decks once inside with a timed ticket. Visitors who want to make the most of views in both daylight and after dark should book a non-prime slot approximately 90 minutes before sunset to experience both conditions.

Morning visits from 09:00 offer the clearest atmospheric conditions and shortest queues. The Burj Khalifa is located at 1 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. The most convenient connection is the Dubai Metro Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station, followed by a short walk through the Dubai Mall to the dedicated Burj Khalifa check-in entrance on the lower ground floor. Taxis and ride-hailing services drop off at the Dubai Mall main entrance. Paid parking is available at the Dubai Mall for visitors arriving by car.

The Burj Khalifa observation deck is an enclosed climate-controlled environment with floor-to-ceiling glass panels and a secured outdoor terrace. While the height of 452 meters is genuinely extraordinary, many visitors with mild height sensitivity find the enclosed setting manageable. The VR and green screen experiences provide additional engagement for those who prefer to focus on activities rather than looking directly down. Tickets are non-refundable within 48 hours of the visit.
