Universal Studios Singapore Entry Tickets Overview
Universal Studios Singapore opened on Sentosa Island in March 2010 as the first Universal theme park in Southeast Asia. The park covers 49 acres and is organised into seven themed zones: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Minion Land. The full Jurassic World zone is currently under development as part of an ongoing expansion.
Sci-Fi City holds the two headline rides of the park. Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN takes the blue track of a duelling coaster to a maximum speed of 90 km/h with five inversions. Battlestar Galactica: CYLON takes the suspended red track through a different set of elements running simultaneously alongside the blue coaster. Transformers: The Ride is a 3D dark ride alongside which the park operates Puss in Boots' Giant Journey, a spinning coaster, and the popular Minion Mayhem ride in the Minion Land zone.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the park's most recent major addition, replacing a portion of the New York zone with a fully immersive recreation of Hogsmeade village including the iconic Hogwarts Castle. The signature ride is Hogwarts Express which at Universal Studios Singapore connects the Hogsmeade and London Waterloo station experiences within the park. September is one of the best months to visit with lower crowds than the peak school holiday periods.
