USA New York Mercer Labs Museum of Art and Technology Entry Tickets Overview
Mercer Labs is an immersive museum in downtown Manhattan at 21 Dey Street, on the corner of Church Street. Opened in 2024, it occupies a large indoor space configured as 15 distinct immersive installation rooms, each using a different combination of projection, LED technology, sound design, spatial engineering and interactive digital systems to create environments you move through rather than observe from a distance.
The centrepiece exhibition is Maestros and the Machines, which explores how legendary creative figures from history such as Da Vinci, Mozart and Hokusai might have approached their work with today's most advanced tools. The exhibition combines their original artistic languages with AI-generated extensions, presenting the output across multiple rooms of large-scale projections and interactive spaces.
The Dragon is one of the most photographed installations: a single sculptural form lit by over 507000 LED lights, the largest such installation of its kind. The Map uses 16K laser projections across colossal walls to create a cartographic experience at extreme scale. The 4D Sound Gallery renders spatial audio holograms with precision that makes sound appear to originate from precise points in three-dimensional space. The 3D Drawing Station allows visitors to create digital drawings that then animate within a live ecosystem on the surrounding screens.
