Gatorland Orlando Entry Tickets Overview
Gatorland has been welcoming visitors through its iconic gator-mouth entrance since 1949, making it one of the oldest continuously operating attractions in Central Florida. Spread across 110 acres of genuine Central Florida wetland habitat on South Orange Blossom Trail between Orlando and Kissimmee, it operates as both a working wildlife preserve and a family entertainment park.
The alligator collection is extraordinary in scale and variety. Thousands of American alligators and multiple crocodile species live throughout the park in naturalistic habitats from large open compounds to the natural Alligator Breeding Marsh, an authentic wetland where wild alligators breed seasonally. Among the most remarkable residents are the leucistic alligators, extremely rare individuals with white skin and blue eyes found only at Gatorland in all of Florida.
Three live shows run daily. The Gator Jumparoo is the park's signature spectacle featuring trained handlers demonstrating alligators launching four to five feet out of the water. Up-Close Encounters is an educational show featuring live animals including Florida's most dangerous native snakes. Legends of the Swamp combines alligator biology education with daredevil demonstrations.
Beyond alligators, the park houses a free-flight aviary, petting zoo, wildcats, capybaras, tortoises, exotic birds, and extensive boardwalk trails through genuine Florida swamp habitat. The Screamin' Gator Zip Line is separately priced and carries riders 1,200 feet over the breeding marsh from towers over seven stories tall. Parking at Gatorland is free.
