The Tiffany Chapel is the centerpiece of the collection, the reconstructed interior of a chapel created by Louis Comfort Tiffany for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. It features a vaulted ceiling, altar, electroliers, and walls in iridescent Byzantine glass mosaic, rescued and rebuilt by museum founders Jeannette and Hugh McKean after near-destruction by fire.
