USA Orlando Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition Orlando Entry Tickets Overview
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Orlando is the permanent home of one of the most significant artifact collections from any single event in modern history. Located at 7324 International Drive, the exhibition is operated by RMS Titanic Inc., the only company legally authorized to recover artifacts from Titanic's wreck site on the floor of the North Atlantic. Nine recovery expeditions have brought over 5,500 artifacts to the surface since 1987. The Orlando exhibition houses more than 300 of them.
Every item on display is genuine. The china, the jewelry, the luggage, the letters, the ship's fixtures, and the recovered coal all came from 12,500 feet below the surface of the Atlantic. They are not replicas. The exhibition makes that distinction clear from the moment you receive your boarding pass at the entrance, assigned with the name of a real Titanic passenger whose fate you discover at the end of the tour.
Seventeen exhibition galleries take visitors through the complete story: the construction of the ship in Belfast, the luxury of first, second, and third class travel, the collision with the iceberg, the sinking, and the recovery expeditions. Full-scale recreations of the Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite, Verandah Cafe, and Promenade Deck surround visitors in the physical environment of the ship. An 8-foot underwater replica shows exactly how the Titanic rests on the ocean floor today. The iceberg, cooled to the temperature of the North Atlantic on April 14 1912, lets visitors feel the reality of what the survivors encountered.
