East USA Getaway Highlights
East USA Getaway Overview
New York opens the trip with two nights to settle into the city's rhythm. Day one is unhurried, just airport pickup, check in, and the city at your own pace. Day two picks up speed with a Hop-on Hop-off tour paired with a Liberty Cruise past the Statue of Liberty, then up to the Empire State Building's 86th floor for a skyline view that takes in Wall Street, Times Square, and the United Nations Headquarters in one sweep.
From New York, the trip turns to Washington D.C. for a single, full night. Checkout, a flight south, and check in, before the evening turns into a monuments tour after dark, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Capitol, and the Pentagon, all lit up against the night sky. It's a short stop, but a dense one.
Niagara Falls comes next for two nights, and the pace eases again. The first day is open, a walk through Niagara Falls State Park for views of the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls, or a stop at Birds Kingdom or the Aquarium of Niagara if that suits better. The second day belongs to the falls themselves: the Maid of the Mist boat ride brings you close enough to feel the spray off the water.
Orlando closes out the trip with four nights and the bulk of the theme park action. A leisure day to start, then three full days across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and SeaWorld, roller coasters, fireworks, orca shows, and a lap around EPCOT's World Showcase before the trip wraps with a final breakfast and the transfer to the airport for the journey home.
East USA Getaway Itinerary
A cab picks you up from the airport and takes you to your hotel in New York City. Check in and rest, or step out at your own pace if you feel up to it. The rest of the day is yours, with no fixed plans.
The day starts with a Hop-on Hop-off bus tour paired with a Liberty Cruise, taking in Manhattan's skyline and the Statue of Liberty from the water. From there, head up to the Empire State Building's 86th floor for a 360-degree view of the city. The route continues past Wall Street, Times Square, the United Nations Headquarters, and Trump Tower along the way.
Check out of the hotel in New York and a cab takes you to the airport for your flight to Washington D.C. Once you land, check in at the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, a night tour covers the city's main monuments: the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Capitol Building, and the Pentagon.
Check out of the hotel and a cab takes you to the airport for your flight to Niagara Falls. After landing, check in at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. You can walk through Niagara Falls State Park for views of the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls, or visit Birds Kingdom or the Aquarium of Niagara if you'd rather.
From the hotel, head to Prospect Point in Niagara Falls State Park for the American Side tour. Board the Maid of the Mist boat for a close approach to both the American and Horseshoe Falls, with the spray in the air and the water roaring around you. Return to the hotel afterward to unwind.
After checking out, a cab takes you to the airport for your flight to Orlando. On arrival, check in and rest, with the afternoon free to explore at your own pace. The Orlando Museum of Art and the Skeletons Museum of Osteology are both worth a visit if you're looking for something to do.
The day is spent at Disney's Magic Kingdom, with a Disney shuttle taking you in. Seven themed lands are spread across the park, from the indoor coaster at Space Mountain to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, with chances to meet classic Disney characters along the way. The day closes with the Happily Ever After fireworks display over the castle.
Head to EPCOT on your own for the day. Future World holds Test Track and Mission: SPACE for those after a quicker pace, while the World Showcase brings together food and culture from around the globe, gelato and pasta in Italy, drummers in Japan, pastries in France. The day ends with a fireworks display over the World Showcase Lagoon.
The day is spent at SeaWorld, starting with the orca presentation. Mako, Orlando's tallest and fastest coaster, is on offer for thrill seekers, while the Dolphin Nursery and Wild Arctic, home to belugas, offer a slower pace for the rest of the day.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and a cab takes you to Orlando International Airport for your onward flight home. This marks the end of your USA journey.
